About Trusty

Trusty is Number One!

Trusty is Firstrust’s loveable, cuddly mascot. He is your new “Number One” figure for teaching you how to save money. After all, he learned from the best — bank founder Samuel A. Green.

Mr. Green would crunch numbers at the table while Trusty and Mrs. Green would cook dinner at the stove in the South Philadelphia home where Firstrust was founded in 1934. Trusty always knew to help himself to an extra serving of savings.

Along with the Green’s son Daniel, Trusty loved helping customers in all the bank branches that opened over the years. Now, their grandson Richard has even bigger plans for their mascot.

Trusty has inspired fun trading cards and an exciting online learning game with a grand prize trip to Disney World. He will also visit area schools to help students learn the important basics of banking and saving.

Be on the lookout, you may even find him at Philly-area hot spots. Click here for Trusty Appearances. Check out his photo album for places he has been to. Maybe you can get a picture with him? Can you say cheese(steak)!
